Fall Preventing Device for Goods Hoists

The fall preventing device is a safety catch system for goods hoists running on guide rails. A safety catch mounts on the cage at each guide rail and connects through a linkage to the wire rope attachment. If the wire rope snaps, the linkage trips the catches, which clamp the rail and hold the cage.

Grips both sides of the rail
Stopping force is applied automatically and equally to both sides of the guide rail. Full-swivel rail grips keep even contact on every rail face.

Up to 4,000 kg per unit
Each safety catch holds up to 4,000 kg.

Models to suit the rail
Versions for UNP channel and T-rail, plus a combined safety catch and guide shoe for 8K and 13K rails.

Electroplated steel body
Steel plate construction, electroplated against rust. Lightweight and easy to set up.

Guide shoe included
Supplied with a guide shoe. A lubricant container is available as an option.
